Born to Rock® is a San Diego-based, women-owned lifestyle brand built around one simple idea: wear what you love.

Our story begins with founder and designer Taissa, a jewelry engineer who has been designing jewelry since 2002 for jewelry brands in Brazil, Italy, and the United States.

In 2018, while expecting her first son, Taissa began dreaming about creating something of her own — a business that would allow her to combine her years of experience in jewelry design with the flexibility to be present for her family.

Then came the pandemic, putting those plans on hold but also creating time to rethink, create, and shape the idea into something more personal.

In 2021, Born to Rock Jewelry® officially launched with its online store. Soon after, weekends became a family affair. Together with her husband, Alexandre, a lifelong sports and outdoor enthusiast, Taissa began selling jewelry at art shows, street fairs, and local markets throughout California.

Meeting customers face-to-face changed everything. Listening to their stories, seeing what they connected with, and learning what they truly wanted inspired a new direction: creating pieces that weren't just beautiful, but personal and meaningful.

Combining Taissa's passion and experience in jewelry design with Alexandre's love of sports and their Southern California lifestyle, Born to Rock® evolved around a simple belief: the things we love are part of who we are — so why not wear them?

What started with jewelry has continued to grow. Today, Born to Rock® is a lifestyle brand offering sports-themed jewelry, birthstone pieces, colorful beaded bracelets, everyday women's jewelry, men's jewelry, baby bodysuits, surf-inspired décor, and Shelf Words™ acrylic signs.

At the heart of everything we create is the belief that what you wear — and what you surround yourself with — can tell your story, celebrate your passions, and remind you of what matters most.
